01Who we are

thearc.om is the website for The Arc Residences at The Sustainable City - Yiti, which is developed by Diamond Developers under SEE Holding, with the Oman Tourism Development Company (OMRAN Group). In this policy, we and us mean The Sustainable City - Yiti. We decide how the details you give us are used, which makes us their controller under the law.

02What we collect

When you enquire. Your first and last name, email address and phone number. If you choose to give them, your nationality or country of residence, the residence you are interested in and your message. We also record the consent choices you make on the form.

When you contact us another way. Whatever you share when you call, email or message us on WhatsApp.

When you visit. Like any website, ours receives basic technical information from your browser, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. Our hosting provider keeps this in its logs to run the site and keep it secure.

How you found us. If you arrive through an advertisement or a campaign link, the site notes the campaign details carried in that link and the page you came from. It keeps them in your browser only for the length of your visit, and sends them to us only if you send an enquiry, so that we know which campaign it came from.

Cookies. thearc.om does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.

03Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange a viewing, at the Sales Centre or online.
• To send you information you have asked for about The Arc Residences, such as availability, plans and prices.
• If you tick the optional box on the form, to send you news about The Arc Residences. We only send marketing with your consent, and every message tells you how to stop them.
• To keep a record of your enquiry and, if you go on to buy, as part of the sales process.
• To keep the website working and secure.

We rely on the consent you give on the enquiry form, and on the steps you ask us to take before a purchase.

04Who we share it with

• The sales and marketing team of The Sustainable City - Yiti, who handle enquiries.
• Formspree, which receives the enquiry form and passes it to our sales team.
• Salesforce, the customer relationship management system our sales team uses to follow up enquiries.
• The email systems we use to reply to you.
• Netlify, which hosts this website.
• Public authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell your details, and we do not give them to anyone else for their own marketing.

Some links take you to services with their own privacy policies: the virtual tour at virtual.thearc.om, WhatsApp, and The Sustainable City - Yiti website. The masterplan page loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when it does.

05Transfers outside Oman

Formspree, Salesforce and Netlify process data on servers outside Oman, including in the United States. When you submit the enquiry form, you agree to your details being transferred to them for the purposes in this policy. Both encrypt data as it travels between your browser and their servers.

06How long we keep it

Only for as long as we need it: while your enquiry is open, for the length of any purchase, and afterwards for as long as the law requires us to keep sales records. If you ask us to delete your details, we will, unless the law requires us to keep them.

07Your rights

Under Oman's Personal Data Protection Law you can:

• withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what was done before
• ask us to correct, update or block your details
• ask for a copy of your details
• ask us to delete your details
• be told if a breach affects your details

To use any of these rights, email hello@thesustainablecity-yiti.com with Privacy in the subject line, or call 8000 33 33. We will reply within 45 days. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology.

08Keeping it safe

The website is served over an encrypted connection, and only the people who handle enquiries can see what you send. If a breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will tell you and the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, as the law requires.

09Children

This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect details from anyone under 18.

10Changes

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version here with a new date at the top.
